SETIA INDAH

Its been almost 2 weeks since i lost my beloved father. February 18 2005 (9 Muharram 1426) around 6pm, he took his last breath. I was shocked to death when receiving the news from Icah. Cried and cried and at the same time i asked Shahidah to sent me home. Admist receiving the shocking news, she manage to call Kak Shidah and Dr. J. Kak Shidah rushed to G14, upon arrival she hugged me with teary eyes too. I'm felt numbed and i'm at lost for words that time. She sent me home with Shahidah beside me. Dr. J and few KRP's students followed behind us to Setia Indah.

I went thru feeling shock that he has gone, numbness that got me through viewing his calm face and through the pengurusan jenazah ceremony; felt lethargic. As I dealt with the grief process I managed to make sure the ceremony smoothly been done. As an eldest (only a sister n my mum; none male members in the family), i am so worried how to manage all the necessities on that day. But somehow i really thank God for all the smoothness in the ceremony. People surrounding us are great helpers to our family. I really thank God for this!

Friday 18/02/05 (9 Muharram 1426)
He took his last breath around 6pm; Majlis Tahlil for 1st night
Saturday 19/02/05 (10 Muharram 1426)
Mandi, kafan and kebumi in Tanah Perkuburan Islam Tmn Istimewa; Kenduri Tahlil for 2nd night
Sunday 20/02/05 (11 Muharram 1426)
Kenduri Tahlil for 3rd night.

It's hard to describe but, I can tell that as I have gotten back into more of an everyday pattern again, I keep him in my heart and i know he is still watching me. I miss my father today as much as I did then. I would still give anything to get another hug from him or to give him a kiss on his forehead. Sumhow i must redha for all that have written.
